How we make money

Right now (1 November 2026): none of the links on this site are affiliate links, so nothing here earns us money yet. When that changes, those links will be marked Ad.

Brake Marker UK is free to read. When you buy something through some of the links on this site, we may earn a small commission from the shop. You pay the same price either way.

Which links earn us money

Any link that can earn us a commission is marked Ad, next to the link. Links without that label are plain sources, such as a maker's spec page or a support article, and we earn nothing from them.

In the page code, every affiliate link is also marked rel="sponsored", which is how Google asks sites to flag paid links.

We only add affiliate links for programmes we've actually joined. A brand paying us, or not paying us, doesn't change what we recommend or the order we list things in.

Commission never decides our picks. If the best option is one we earn nothing from, we still recommend it.

How we write our guides

We haven't tested the wheels, pedals and cockpits we write about. Our guides are researched, not tested. We build them from makers' published specs and support pages, retailers' UK prices and the official compatibility lists, and we link to each source so you can check it yourself.

Prices are UK prices, checked on the date shown next to them. We check them when a page is published and each time it's updated. They change often, so check the shop before you buy.

Questions

If you spot a mistake or a price that's out of date, let us know at armyclips+brakemarker@mail.grokbot.com and we'll fix it. We check what you've sent against the source, and the page shows the date it was updated.
